Ghana Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew, deservingly scooped some prestigious awards in Swansea City’s end of season awards.
Four prizes were won by Andre Ayew at Swansea end-of-season awards ceremony for the 2019-20 season which was held virtually on Thursday August 21, 2020.
The Ghanaian international was named as Swansea City’s Supporters’ Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season, while walking home with the Top Goalscorer award and the Away Player of the Season accolade.
This awards are as a result of his outstanding contribution during the just ended 2019/20 football season. The 2009 Under-20 World Cup winner with Ghana was Swansea City’s top scorer with 18 goals. He also provided 7 assists for the Welsh established English championship side.
The creativity exhibited by Andre Rami Morgan Ayew in Steve Cooper’s side was the best. He paired up with Rhian Brewster’s productivity as they sent Swansea into the Championship playoffs. Unfortunately, Brentford thrashed them in the semi-finals and destroyed their hopes of making a return to the Premier League.
Also, he managed to make 0.35 goals per 90 minutes and 0.15 assists per 90 minutes.

The 30-year-old midfielder rejoined Swansea from West Ham for a second spell at the club in January 2018. He then returned to South Wales again last summer after a season-long loan at Fenerbahce. He has featured for the likes of Marseille, Lorient, Aries Avignon, West Ham, Swansea, and Fenerbahce.
Andre Ayew managed to score 15 goals in 88 appearances.
