All-time Black Stars’ top goalscorer, Asamoah Gyan, is still in the thought of ending his football career in the Ghana Premier League. Samuel Anim Addo, who serves as the manager of the goal poacher, has revealed that Gyan’s preferred destination could be Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Asamoah Gyan is currently with no club and will like to serve his national league before hanging his boots. Kumasi based Asante Kotoko has listed him as their potential star as they represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League. The 34-year-old striker parted ways with NorthEast United in India after scoring 4 goals in eight matches.
The Porcupines Warriors ended their race in the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League after they were eliminated in the first round. Their next venture into the competition is surrounded by great potential names to play for the Kumasi based side.
Although Samuel Anim Addo has revealed his player’s intention to feature for Kotoko, they have not received any offers. He stated that the constant links with Asante Kotoko are because the striker has professed his love for the club. Anim Addo also revealed that Gyan has received offers from Asia and Europe but are not willing.
Asamoah Gyan is the all-time striker for Ghana with 51 goals. He holds the record of the African player with most goals in a world cup.
