Atletico Madrid identify Baba Iddrisu as Partey’s replacement

Atletico Madrid has identified Ghanaian midfielder Baba Iddrisu Mohammed as a potential replacement for Thomas Partey. The exit of Thomas Partey has left a big vacancy in the midfield of Atletico Madrid.

The deadline day triggering the release clause of Thomas Partey caused a big problem to Diego Simeone’s side. Arsenal paid €50 million for the service of the newly elect Ghanaian vice-captain. Similarly, they lost Rodrigo Cascante to Manchester City in 2019.

Although the Wanda Metropolitano club has acquired the service of Lucas Torreira from Arsenal, the work of Partey cannot be done easily by him. This has led the Rojiblancos to put their eyes on Mallorca midfielder, Baba Iddrisu Mohammed as a potential replacement for Partey.
