The Electoral Commission of Ghana has finally released the much-anticipated list of seats won by the various political parties in parliament.
As many are in expectant following rumors about the seats won by the NPP and NDC, many came to the conclusion that this year’s majority in parliament will be in the favor of NDC.
However, according to the EC’s report, the seats won in the parliament seems to be in favor of NPP as they have secured 137 seats out of 275 seats in Parliament.
The NDC came second with 136 seats in parliament which they are currently disagreeing with. The Independent candidate also won a seat making the total seats collated so far to be 274.
There is one outstanding seat that is currently being investigated by the EC to know who actually is the winner of the seat.
