“Ghana Lost 120 Billion Cedis to corruption in last four years” – Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.

According to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Ghana has lost 120 Billion cedis to corruption last four years.

Revealing this in a blog post on their official blog website, gbcghanaonline, they said, the data by the Caucus for Democratic Governance shows that most of the corruption cases occurred at the Ministry of Finance as it recorded one-third of all the cases.

This is how they were able to consume that much:

The transport sector recorded 14%
The Mining sector recorded 11.6%
The oil and gas sector recorded 10%

According to the Ghana Broadcast corporation, this was disclosed at the national forum of corruption currently going on in Accra.

It was also revealed that the executive director of the Caucus, Dr. Kingsley Hayford added that a total of 142 cases were recorded within the period under review.
