Ghanaian police officer missing


Ghana Police Service has revealed that one of their personnels, Inspector Charles Adamu, is reportedly missing.

A mass search has been launched for the Inspector Charles Awuni who reportedly got missing on Thursday, 29th October 2020.

According to the police, the missing personnel is 50-years -old and is a service driver of the Police Hospital in Accra. He went missing after he left home for Asuboi in the Eastern Region on Wednesday, October 2i, 2020.

According to his wife, Inspector Adamu tripped to the Eastern Region with a police vehicle to visit his piece of land on that day. Moreover, she stated that her husband is no where to be found but the police vehicle has been packed on the Accra-Kumasi highway. She then rushed to the police station to issue the report.

Some police investigators who were deployed to the scene. To their surprised, the found the ignition key but could not trace the police man.

The police service vehicle was registered with registration number GP 144. It has since been sent to the Suhum Police Station for safekeeping,

In conclusion, the police and some volunteers from Mankrong and Asuboi communities intensify their search for the officer.
