NPP using military to steal vote

Hon Haruna Iddrisu who is the majority leader in parliament has alleged that NPP is using military force to steal the majority from NDC in parliament.

In a press briefing captured by 3news, it has been reported at the Accra International Conference center that, the governing party is using military officers to scare the electoral officers to recount the ballots in the process to favor the NPP.

Haruna Iddrisu also added that, it is illegal to recount the results at the polling stations.

“It is not legally permissible to do recount at the collation centers and using the military to intimidate for a recount”

“The military cannot intimidate us with their guns”

“Collation centres are centres for aggregation of polls from polling stations. They are not to be used for the purpose of recounting.”
