The police command in Ajumako Bisease has apprehended a 30-year-old hunter by name Yaw Mensah. He was arrested for shooting his fellow man 35-year-old, Kweku Klu after he mistook him for a game.

This unfortunate incident has sparked several claims from the people of Ajumako Bisease. The mother of the arrested 30-year-old hunter Yaw Mensah was interviewed on one media channel. She revealed her shock when she was informed about his son’s unfortunate incident of killing someone. She made it known that her son informed her that he was going to the farm to hunt for game. The mother stated that it was his normal daily routine.

It is revealed that Yaw Mensah is married and has two children, with his wife also pregnant.

“He was in the bush around 10:00 pm and heard a noise and suspected it was an animal so he shot it without knowing it was a human being. He then came home and reported the incident to the family,” she said.

A brother to the deceased made it known that the family became suspicious when they heard the news so they went to the families to verify.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital pending autopsy reports. The police are also investigating the case.
