Mahama is visionless for promising to legalize Okada – Kennedy Agyapong

Controversial politician and Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has condemned John Mahama’s promise to Okada drivers.

Kennedy Agyapong has condemned former President John Dramani Mahama’s promise for the legalisation of the Okada business in the nation. According to him, most Okada drivers had great intention on other business ventures but due to poverty, they opted for Okada business.

He added that graduates who tend to become Okada riders wouldn’t have opted for that if there were good employment opportunities. Kennedy Agyapong stated that John Mahama’s promise to legalize Okada is a clear indication of his visionless nature.

The nature of unemployment in the country has forced some individuals to go in for the Okada business which is not their prime intention. It has been alleged that John Mahama in his 2016 manifesto promised same but did not legalise it when he was voted into power.

Moreover, Kennedy Agyapong made it known that John Mahama intention is to seek for votes and not a promise. He stated that Mahama is finding ways to win the presidency and hence making all sort of promises.
