Medeama SC confirm signing of six new players


Medeama Sporting Club has confirmed the signing of six new players ahead of the upcoming 2020/2021 seasons.

The Tarkwa-based side has enriched their squad to make it formidable and compete for league glory.

The mauve and yellow side have beefed up their squad to make them very competitive and compete for league glory.

Medeama Sporting Club has signed Boateng Frank on a three-year deal from the Obuasi-based side, Ashantigold. Boateng was signed on a free transfer and will augment the goalkeeping department of the team.

Abdul Adam Basit has joined Medeama on a long-term contract from abroad. He is a former player of the Ghana U-20 side.

The Tarkwa-based side has signed Baba Musah Abdullai and Patrick Yeboah. Formerly, Patrick Yeboah played for Asante Kotoko and Baba Musah played for Tema Youth.

Dreams FC former midfield gem, Kwadwo Asamoah, has also signed a two-year deal with the Tarkwa-based side to augment their squad ahead of the season.

Moreover, Abass Mohammed, formerly of Enyimba FC, has returned to Medeama SC after leaving the Nigerian side.

Medeama Sporting Club is gradually building a very great side and will be a threat in the Premier League. They will face Accra Great Olympics in the season opener on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
