National Chief Imam dismisses personal assistant Khuzaima Osman

The Ghana National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has indefinitely suspended his personal assistant from office.

Chief Imam’s personal assistant, Alhaji Khuzaimah Osman, has been suspended from acting as an officer of the National Chief Imam’s office with immediate effect.

This is according to the information gathered from the press statement from the National Chief Imam’s office. It states that, “Alhaji Khuzaimah Osman is no more the Personal Assistant to the national Chief Imam. He ceased to be Executive Director of Sunset Fund and other positions he holds on behalf of the Chief Imam. Moreover, he ceased to be a technical committee member of the Islam Peace and Security Council.”

It is gathered that Alhaji Khuzaimah involved himself in a land struggle at Ablekuma. Moreover, he acquired the land in the name of the national Chief Imam without his consent.

Following media reportage on the land tussle, the national Chief Imam has denied claims of owning the land and distanced himself from the land tussle. Chief Imam added that his office has not been created to be exploited for one’s personal benefits or gains.

He sounded a strong warning to people who use his name and office for personal gains to desist from that.

The general public is therefore notified about the dismissal of Alhaji Khuzaimah Osman. Also, he is being replaced by Dr. Mohammed Marzuk Abubakar Azindon.
