NPP and NDC supporters clash at James Town during health walk


Supporters of NPP and NDC have clashed at the Odododiodoo Constituency at Jamestown on Sunday during a health walk. The clash has led to the injury of a number of supporters of the party.

Footage going viral on social media shows the fans of the various parties throwing empty drink bottles at each other. Also, crates of drinks were also being used, with stones and other materials used as weapons.

Reports reveal that the National Democratic Congress were on a national walk to campaign at their various constituencies. The unfortunate incident took place on the Atta Mills highstreet. Consequently, Nii Lante Bannerman and Nii Lante Vanderpuije will battle for the seat in the Odododiodoo Constituency.

The main cause of the whole rioting is unknown. Moreover, Police sources reveal that both political parties have filed complaints about the incident.

Ghanaians will vote in the upcoming 2020 general election with their own criteria. Also, political parties are eager to win the elections, hence Ghanaians should maintain peace.

National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party should wait for Ghanaians to justify their performances. In conclusion, Ghanaians should not involve themselves in any form of rioting in the upcoming elections.
