In the world of Sports, athletes are the most important tools. The background of some athletes are very good, others moderate, whiles the rest are dealt with poverty. Amount of sufferings and struggle some athletes have gone though are beyond thoughts. Some have faced toils after toils before finding success and financial stability in sports.

When professional athletes and sportsmen are been analyzed, their wealth and greatness are what comes in mind. Take a careful look at the lives that some athletes have passed through before making their wealth.

1. Tsegaye Kebede

Tsegaye Kebede is an Ethiopian International long distance runner. The 33 year old athlete has passes through sufferings in his life. Tsegaye was born into a very poor family of seventeen (15 children). He was the oldest child and was facing challenges in life support his parents to cater for the family.

He has featured in olympic games and won bronze medal in the Olympics held in Beijing 2008. The Ethiopian won bronze medal in the World Championship in Athletes held at Berlin in 2009.

2. Adil Rami

Adil Rami is a French footballer who is a former AC Milan and Sevilla centre back. He is 34 years old and is currently plying his trade in Sochi in Russia. Rami’s parents were Africans from Morocco. The story of Adil Rami is quite unique from all others on the list.

LeBron James is a professional basketball player in the United States of America. James’ story looks very peculiar from the others. Poverty drove his family and as a result, he dropped out from college. His mother faced a single parenting. She was 16 years old when she gave birth to the legendary basketball player.
