PSG hammer Leipzig to reach Champions League final


Paris Saint-Germain has made it to the finals of the UEFA Champions League for their first time as they hammered German promising side, Leipzig.

Goals from Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria, and Juan Bernat were enough to cruise past their German counterparts. The Paris Saint Germain manager, Thomas Tuchel, selected his best side to play although Kylian Mbappe was not fully fit for the game.

Although RB Leipzig proved to be very good, the great performances of the attacking players of PSG in the game landed them a spot in the finals.

The game was keenly contested until the deadlock was broken on the 13th minute mark by Marquinhos. With some fews minutes to the end of the first half, Angel Di Maria added another goal to put PSG in a good position. Di Maria then pulled his second assist of the match which was scored by Juan Bernat to seal the victory for the French side.

Paris Saint Germain have booked a place in the finals of the Champions League as they await the winner of the match between Lyon and Bayern Munich.
