Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, popularly known as Shatta wale has once again taken to his social media page to campaign for peace. Telling his followers not to comprehend with politicians who will as them to fight during the election period.

Shatta wale is one of the few artists campaigning for peace. Stonebwoy also organized a peace walk in Ashaiman recently to campaign for peace.

In a twitter post made by Shatta wale earlier today, he wrote;

If any politician come to you and tell you to go and fight in this year’s elections ask them the whereabouts of their children and family members #SM4Peace

Below are other Twitter posts made by Shatta wale, campaigning for peace. In these posts, he specifically directed his message to the “ghetto youths”, advising them not to make war but to vote in peace.

He stated clearly that, both Nana Addo and John Mahama are good friends, so why should they be influenced to create confusion due to election?

Let us all do well to vote in peace regardless of party differences because everybody has the right to choose whoever he or she thinks can lead Ghanaians better
