A 30-year-old man by name Kwabena Sakyi has been stabbed to death in broad daylight by a suspected Cameroonian over suspicions that he is a Police informant at Gomoa Buduburam. The unfortunate incident is one of the many cases of murder in the environs of Buduburam known as Liberia Camp in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

According to reports gathered, the deceased was very friendly with the police in the community. This led to hatred from some trouble makers as they suspected that he provides tip offs to the police. The Cameroonian stabbed Kwabena Sakyi two times which led to the death of the victim.

The police were notified and they immediately came to the scene but due to injury on the Cameroonian, he was allowed to access treatment at the nearby hospital. As the suspect entered the hospital, it has been reported that he jumped the wall and escaped.

This has led the community residents to gather at the St Gregory Catholic Hospital. Some residents are planning of setting fire in the hospital. They suggest that some of the hospital staff allowed the suspect to escape.
