Join the Ticketing team as a Lead Payroll Scheduler for SnowSports School. Must have at least 3 years of experience in customer service, or similar.

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:

  • Work with our VIP guests to book lessons, schedule requested instructors, and make changes as needed
  • Control check-in lines at Wild Blue Gondola, Green Horn Ranch, private line-up, and group snowsports classes
  • Resolve guest issues including lift and lesson access
  • Work with SnowSports instructors to manage their guests as needed with bookings and changes
  • Adjust Instructor schedules as needed, add first tracks and other guest service issues
  • Update the Kronos system with all instructor hours
  • Work with the Flaik system to track student days, confirm instructor schedules and hours, and assign lessons to instructors
  • Data entry of changing instructors’ pay rates
  • Execute audit processes daily and weekly as needed
  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Instructor labor
  • Maintain accurate records of all incentive pay programs
  • Maintain all payroll records for department
  • Create and compile accurate reports for instructors graduated hourly incentive program
  • Maintain employee files and pay rates for all Instructor staff
  • Change daily instructor schedules to match the morning changes
  • Research any discrepancies from instructor check-out
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Must be minimum 18 years of age
  • Must stand for long periods of time
  • Must operate computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Communicate clearly in English both in person and on the phone

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Must have at least 3 years of previous customer service experience
  • Must have greater than average computer proficiency; strong computer and keyboards skills
  • Must be neat, accurate, well organized and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must enjoy working with the public and have excellent customer service skills
  • Must maintain a positive/friendly attitude often under stressful conditions with both co-workers and guests
  • Must be flexible, take initiative and work successfully in a team environment
  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards

Miscellaneous information:

  • This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
  • Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed
  • Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check

The low and high ends of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position are represented by the base hourly pay ranges below. Based on a number of variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel, actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range. The range indicated is only a portion of the overall salary offered to staff members by Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation.
