Full Job Description

This apprenticeship role will be varied and involve working in various departments of the company, starting in the warehouse where you will learn about all facets of warehouse/stock management as well as the products/codes, and moving to the sales counter/office where you will process orders, communicate with suppliers, check stock for customers, take payments, and handle sales from both suppliers and customers.

You will receive monthly tutoring sessions, regular course work time at the branch, and regular reviews of your position and qualification progress as an apprentice. Each trainee is guided by an experienced staff member who will serve as their mentor throughout the apprenticeship.

Training

With Learning Skills Partnership, you will achieve a Trade Supplier Level 2 qualification as an apprentice training program, your training will be job-specific, conducted on the job, and you’ll be assigned a tutor and a study session throughout the work week.

Components of the Trade Supplier Level 2 Apprenticeship

· Competence/Knowledge based qualification

· Functional Skills – Maths/ English (if required)

· End Point Assessment – Final Knowledge Test, Observation and Discussion

Prospects

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company. From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.
