What You Will Offer

  • Handles the processing of accounting, financial, and vehicle usage documents, as well as other indicators of business performance. This includes activities such as reconciling reports related to projects or work management; drafting cost control reports and narratives for significant discrepancies; and compiling various statements, reports, and summaries for cost, project, work performance, and vehicle usage tracking. Based on these analyses, provide recommendations to the manager.
  • The role may involve engaging in the planning, scheduling, coordination, and organisation of office space and employee relocations, managing the relocation of telephones and office equipment, and serving as the intermediary with contractors or others to address building facility concerns, including HVAC, security systems, and maintenance services.
  • The position also encompasses work leadership and coordination duties for junior Field Service Administrators and other staff, including addressing and resolving escalated issues that arise from these team members.
  • The job entails performing all tasks associated with Field Services Administrator levels 1 and 2 as needed.
  • Additionally, the role includes executing minor tasks related to the responsibilities mentioned earlier that do not influence the job’s classification.

 Requirement for Field Services Coordinator III – Fort Nelson (Canada)

  1. Experience: The candidate should have at least one year of general clerical and administrative experience as a Field Services Administrator 2 or two years of equivalent experience in general clerical administration, work order management, custodial administration, materials issues management, time capture, billing/expenses, and business/financial performance reporting.
  2. Education: The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Skills: The candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of field services operations and BC Hydro’s business objectives.
